This extraordinary memorial features a custom Blue Pearl Granite headstone with an OG shaped cap, twisted pillars and full backing plate, expertly erected on a granite base in Kilkenny. This highly detailed and bespoke design creates a powerful and deeply personal tribute, combining traditional craftsmanship with unique modern elements.
Crafted from premium Blue Pearl granite, renowned for its dark base with shimmering blue and silver crystal flecks, the memorial delivers a striking and luxurious finish. The headstone is enhanced with 23.5ct gold leaf engraved inscription, providing exceptional clarity, contrast and a premium appearance.
The design includes a rose-carved cap, adding a symbolic and decorative feature, while the structure is completed with twisted pillars and a backing plate, giving the memorial strong architectural presence. Surrounding the grave is a fully enclosed Blue Pearl granite railing with hand-carved rose detailing, along with full granite flooring and foundations, creating a cohesive and highly polished layout. A kneel-and-pray feature at the foot of the grave adds a thoughtful space for reflection.
The memorial is further elevated by an extensive range of custom accessories, making it truly one-of-a-kind. A large bronze Pieta statue is centrally positioned on the cap, with bronze doves in hands on either end, symbolising peace and eternal rest. Large bronze Our Lady and Our Lord statues are mounted on pillars on either side of the headstone, enhancing the spiritual theme.
The headstone itself features a full-body laser-etched image, alongside a 12x12cm star-shaped ceramic photograph, providing a lasting and personal tribute. Additional granite features include three 27" rose-carved hearts, a Blue Pearl scroll on plinth, and a 14" heart with heart-shaped ceramic photograph mounted on a plinth with two bronze statues.
Personal touches are further reflected through bespoke items including a VW Golf car sculpture on plinth, a custom Blue Pearl handbag, high heel and lipstick set, a Blue Pearl iPhone with laser image, and a granite Lucozade bottle, all carefully crafted and mounted on plinths to reflect individuality and personality.
The entrance to the memorial is marked by two crowns mounted on blocks, while two solar lanterns positioned on the rail provide gentle illumination, completing this exceptional and highly detailed installation.

Payment50% Deposit and payment in full approximately 2-4 weeks before fixing at the Cemetery

Payment in Full on placement of order.
Cash or all major Credit/Debit Cards, Bankers Draft or BACS Transfer are all acceptable methods of payment. All goods remain the property of the Kelly Cowin Memorials until paid for in full.
Additional feesKelly Cowin Memorials are not responsible for payment of any cemetery fees but will at the request of the client and or the cemetery authority make such payments and add the required amount plus vat where applicablet o the final bill. Any cemetery fees that are different to what we have advised will either be added to the final invoice or a refund issued.
(Please note that Kelly Cowin Memorials may add vat as required by law to any extra payments they pay to any third party at the customer’s request)
Cancellation PolicyMinimum 48 hours’ notice of cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing. We reserve the right to levy a 10% (excluding VAT) charge to cover any subsequent administrative expenses.
Termination of Agreements and Refunds PolicyBoth the Client and we have the right to terminate any Services Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway. Any monies that have been paid to us which constitute payment in respect of the provision of unused Services shall be refunded.
However, the cancellation/refund request of any monies paid is at the discretion of Management should the orders have been communicated to our suppliers, processes have been initiated to shipping them or material already received.
If you consider that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of us in writing so we can take appropriate action to resolve the matter.
