This professional full grave renovation project was carried out in Balgriffin Cemetery, restoring a memorial back to its original beauty with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The memorial featured a Black Granite headstone with decorative White Marble panel detailing running up the left-hand side, mounted within a grave surround with full limestone kerbing. Over time, the memorial had naturally weathered, and as part of the renovation works, all stonework was professionally cleaned and restored to revive its original appearance.
The decorative White Marble panel was carefully renovated back to its original condition, restoring the brightness and elegant contrast against the polished black granite headstone.
The full limestone kerbing surrounding the grave was also professionally renovated, bringing back the natural finish and clean appearance of the stonework.
The existing inscription on the headstone was professionally repainted using silver paint, significantly improving clarity and restoring the refined appearance of the lettering. An additional inscription was also added, seamlessly matched to the existing style and layout of the memorial.
The centre of the plot was fully refurbished with the addition of fresh concrete foundations and completed with new grey granite chippings, creating a neat, durable and low-maintenance finish.
This renovation project also includes before and after photographs, clearly showcasing the quality of the restoration work completed by Kelly Cowin Memorials.

Payment50% Deposit and payment in full approximately 2-4 weeks before fixing at the Cemetery

Payment in Full on placement of order.
Cash or all major Credit/Debit Cards, Bankers Draft or BACS Transfer are all acceptable methods of payment. All goods remain the property of the Kelly Cowin Memorials until paid for in full.
Additional feesKelly Cowin Memorials are not responsible for payment of any cemetery fees but will at the request of the client and or the cemetery authority make such payments and add the required amount plus vat where applicablet o the final bill. Any cemetery fees that are different to what we have advised will either be added to the final invoice or a refund issued.
(Please note that Kelly Cowin Memorials may add vat as required by law to any extra payments they pay to any third party at the customer’s request)
Cancellation PolicyMinimum 48 hours’ notice of cancellation required. Notification for instance, in person, via email, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing. We reserve the right to levy a 10% (excluding VAT) charge to cover any subsequent administrative expenses.
Termination of Agreements and Refunds PolicyBoth the Client and we have the right to terminate any Services Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway. Any monies that have been paid to us which constitute payment in respect of the provision of unused Services shall be refunded.
However, the cancellation/refund request of any monies paid is at the discretion of Management should the orders have been communicated to our suppliers, processes have been initiated to shipping them or material already received.
If you consider that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of us in writing so we can take appropriate action to resolve the matter.
